Launched at this years E3 the new interactive platform “Game Girl” was the big suprise of the show.
It is being shipped with the new “Super Mario Pipes 5″ that utilizes the Game Girls unique, propriety game control system. In describing this state-of-the-art system game designer Ichi Yamada says, “We wanted to move away from traditional controllers and develop one that does not require the use of your hands”
100,000 units will initially ship to Japan this summer with and additional 300,000 to Europe and North America by Thanksgiving. Base price is set at $690.
